The Yankee Tipper works well to prevent access by grey squirrels; however, red squirrels are not heavy enough to tip the tray sufficiently to dislodge them. If red squirrels are coming to your feeders, we recommend the Yankee Whipper or Yankee Dipper which have lighter weight activations.
